I Want you to Want me
Performance: 20 minutes at Concourse Gallery at Emily Carr University, 2010

I build a portable cross and attach it to my body. Walking in a gallery space, I bow every seven steps, finally reaching the gallery wall and kissing the wall. In this work, I transform religion to a commodity that can be consumed, negotiating and blurring the boundaries between religion and fetish, fashion and ritual.
